Wellness In Infrastructure was formed to address a study that showed that the state of mental health in the Infrastructure Construction industry was well below general population norms. This included depression, anxiety and stress levels exceeding the general population by 60%, and 46% of respondents meeting the criteria for being burnt out.

With the Victorian Government implementing legislation to control this at the end of 2025, infrastructure projects currently lack a way of effectively identifying their psychosocial risks. This leaves projects with a need to understand their risks, but no ability to assess themselves.

Key Outcomes & Benefits

The WII PAT Portal project delivered a tailored psychosocial risk audit tool designed specifically for the infrastructure and construction industries. Users receive personalised reports with highlighted priority areas, and will be able to understand how to begin reducing their psychosocial risk. The platform features integrated training modules, a centralised resource library, and a secure, scalable architecture to support future growth. By leveraging anonymised industry data, the tool will help identify sector-wide trends and promote best practices. Overall, the project empowers organisations to take proactive steps toward improving mental health and wellbeing, supports informed decision-making, raises awareness of critical industry issues, and positions Wellness in Infrastructure (WII) as a leader in psychosocial risk management.
